Fee Refund Policy

Effective from Academic Year 2025–26
Subject to revision as per UGC/State directives

1. Purpose

To establish transparent norms for refund of tuition and other fees, in line with UGC guidelines and NEP 2020.

2. Scope

Applies to all programmes (LL.B., B.A. LL.B., LL.M. and certificate courses) offered by RPMLC.

3. Definitions

Term Definition
Formally-notified last date of admission The published final date for completing admission, including late fees if applicable.
Working day Any day when the college office is open, excluding Sundays and public holidays.

4. Non-Refundable Components

  • Application/Prospectus fee
  • University or entrance registration charges
  • Hostel reservation fee after first semester
  • Charges for value-added courses already completed

5. Refund Procedure

  1. Download the refund form from the RPMLC website or collect it from Accounts Office
  2. Submit filled form with documents at accounts@rpmlc.com or in person
  3. Track status via Student Services Portal
  4. Refunds are processed every Tuesday and Friday

6. Cancellation by College

If admission is canceled due to document issues, disciplinary action, or regulatory directives, the same refund policy applies.

7. Grievance Redressal

  • Email: refundcommittee@rpmlc.com
  • Escalate to University Grievance Cell if unresolved
  • Final authority: UGC Student Grievance Portal

7. Review & Updates

This policy will be reviewed annually or as per UGC/state guideline updates. Updates will be published on the RPMLC website.
